Erin has a Bachelor’s degree from Boston University and a Master’s degree from Columbia University. Erin has also served as an Alumni Admissions Ambassador at Columbia. There, she coached interviewees and conducted interviews, and evaluated and recommended candidates to the admissions committee. Additionally, Erin has over a decade of experience as an educator. 

Erin is passionate about helping young people identify and appreciate their strengths, tell their unique stories, and transition to the next exciting phase in life. She enjoys building trusting relationships with Quad applicants where she can gain a deeper understanding of their unique background and stories to ensure their application represents their best, authentic selves.

Erin understands that applying to college can be stressful. Still, she feels that the college application process is a wonderful learning opportunity for students to gain self-confidence, professional and academic skills, and a deeper understanding of themselves. Her greatest strengths as a coach include breaking down the college application process into manageable chunks and helping applicants brainstorm and craft a final polished personal statement.

David is a former admissions officer at Brown University who is currently based in South Carolina. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University with a dual concentration in History and Biomedical Ethics. David has had a long and successful career both in and outside the admissions world. After working for a large law firm in Washington DC for a year, he attended Cornell Law School graduating with a Juris Doctor in Public Law. Following his graduation from law school, David served in the United States Navy as a Judge Advocate for three years on active duty while stationed in Great Lakes, Illinois, and Newport, Rhode Island. David worked as an attorney for the U.S. Immigration & Naturalization Service following his military service. After that, he practiced immigration law for over ten years.

After a long legal career, David transitioned into his true passion: higher education to help undergraduate students find engaging internships and post-graduation positions and assist them with applications to top colleges. He started at Northeastern University, heading the pre-law office, where he made decisions on which pre-law students to admit and helped them get accepted at top law schools. In addition, he taught hundreds of international students in a professionalism and career readiness course designed to prepare them for working in the United States.

Following his work at the illustrious Northeastern University admissions office, David ran a program for student veterans at the University of Massachusetts Boston, helping students prepare and gain admittance to highly selective colleges. Having found his niche in providing one-on-one advising to students, David returned to his Alma Mater to work as an Admission Specialist for the Brown University admission office. At Brown, David was responsible for evaluating thousands of applications and making admissions committee recommendations. In addition, he was also responsible for all merit scholarship reviews and has an in-depth understanding of what highly selective schools such as Brown are looking for when making scholarship decisions.

Outside of work, David tries to keep up with his three amazing children, the oldest in graduate school in Shark Biology and youngest attending college in Film Studies.  He often spends weekends exploring the Carolina Lowlands and nearby Islands for unique beaches and foods. Originally from the Boston area, David is a lifelong Red Sox fan and continues to follow the team closely. David is currently trying his hand at starting a small orchard with the hopes of someday making small-batch jams and wines.

Sena is a graduate of Columbia University and has been on the admissions teams at her alma mater, Columbia University and Barnard College. During her time in admissions, Sena was responsible for interviewing prospective students, participating in initiatives such as the Columbia admissions blog to promote the school’s thought leadership among prospective candidates, and being an admissions ambassador for Columbia. During this time, she evaluated candidates and made recommendations on who to admit.

Sena learned how admissions offices want to see passion reflected in applicants’ documents through her time in admissions. She also developed a solid understanding of how much each facet of the college application – test scores, written application documents, recommendation letters, and extracurricular activities – matters.

Sena has an extremely diverse background and can relate to students from different walks of life. In addition to her admissions experience, Sena has worked as a researcher at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC. Additionally, she is also a gifted writer. Sena has worked as a journalist at Hurriyet Newspaper of Turkey and has a publication that received a prize in fiction at New York Book Festival in 2011. In her free time, Sena enjoys reading, reformer pilates, writing, singing, traveling, taking drama classes, and acting in local film and TV productions.

Rachel has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. She also has a JD from Boston College Law School. 

Rachel's educational experiences are invaluable to her, which is why she decided to use her talents to help others achieve their educational aspirations. Rachel understands how overwhelming and anxiety-ridden applying to college can be. She loves taking the complicated college application process and breaking it down so that it becomes straightforward and understandable. Her goal as a coach is to reduce stress from applicants and their family members, allowing students to focus on highlighting their strengths and achieving their educational goals. 

When working with Quad applicants, Rachel strives to keep the mood light and the environment calm and relaxed. Once Rachel has achieved a relaxed environment and the trust of her students, she works to break down material so it is manageable and can be completed in an organized and efficient manner. Rachel’s greatest strengths as a coach include creating realistic timelines and organized schedules and helping students create stand-out personal statements and resumes.

In her spare time, Rachel enjoys home decoration and organizing, trying new exercises, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog.

Arianna is a counselor at Quad Education and has been on the admissions team at Dartmouth College. She loves being able to help guide students and lessen the anxiety that the process causes. Arianna likes to inspire students and help them reach the goals they were unsure were attainable prior.

Arianna was heavily involved in interviewing candidates at Dartmouth, leading to her greatest learning in admissions: interviewing a candidate is just as much on the interviewer as the interviewee. Later in her admissions journey, she realized how this also applies to other aspects of the application. If you search for the candidate to fail, they will, but if you have no expectation, then the candidate's performance will be their own. Arianna incorporates this philosophy into her coaching style as a consultant at Quad.

Arianna is an expert at guiding students throughout the application process. She really enjoys helping students determine their strengths, guiding them through each step in an understandable way, college list creation, and helping students discover their theme to utilize for their application and personal essay. Although she loves helping all students, she is particularly passionate about helping diverse and POC candidates, STEM, LGBTQ+, women, and disadvantaged candidates.

Arianna loves to play the violin, learn languages (she's currently working on Portuguese and Italian), and write poetry and short stories.

Dominique has served on the admissions team at Dartmouth College. She is also a graduate of Dartmouth, where she studied Anthropology and Hispanic Studies. In the past, Dominique has worked with the Dartmouth admissions office on initiatives to give insights to prospective students and families insight into the opportunities available at the school and what the campus culture was like. She has also served as an interviewer for the college, conducting interviews of undergraduate applicants and then rating students, submitting reports about their character, academic and extracurricular engagement, and overall professionalism, as part of the Admissions Committee's assessments.

Through her work in admissions, Dominique realized the importance of telling a compelling story in the personal statement and developed a solid understanding of all of the important notes that the essay should hit to score highly in all of the different buckets that admissions committees use to score it.

Dominique is deeply passionate about education and has four years of teaching experience. After completing her undergraduate studies at Dartmouth, she was selected for the prestigious Teach for America program.

During her time as a teacher, Dominique also has extensive mentorship experience. She had an advisory group of students that she coached through all four years of high school, helping them choose classes/extracurriculars that make sense for their goals, in addition to helping with SAT prep and editing essays and scholarship applications. She also mentored them on how to choose the best school to attend based on award letters, prestige, major-specific programming, and school culture fit. Dominique enjoys hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and attending concerts in her free time.

Max has earned a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University and a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Vermont. Max has many years of experience as an Admissions Coach and SAT/ACT Tutor. Additionally, Max has served as a Newspaper & TV Journalist, identifying compelling stories and spicing up the written prose. He feels delighted when a student can channel his/her/their authentic inner voice and cares deeply about working with young people.

Max is passionate about guiding students through the college admissions process — from requesting recommendation letters, and editing resumes to crafting heartfelt essays, strategizing over Early Decision versus Regular Decision, and weighing financial aid packages.

Max’s greatest strength as a coach is his ability to establish a personal-professional rapport with his students. He partners with Quad applicants to break down tasks, working systematically to overcome any fears surrounding the college application process. Max also uses his journalism chops to interview the student and solicit essay-ready insights.

Students Max has recently coached have gotten accepted to Princeton University, Yale University, Brown University, University of Pennsylvania, Cornell University, Columbia University, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Duke University, University of Chicago, Washington University, and Northwestern University.

In his free time, Max enjoys pushing himself to the limit at CrossFit and running half-marathons. He also likes to read novels and non-fiction and sit in a coffee shop arguing politics with friends.

Max’s Pro Tip?

Don’t underestimate the importance of brutal honesty in the essay writing process. Students need to be blunt and write profoundly and deeply.

Kayla is a graduate of Brown University, where she earned two Bachelor's degrees, one in Theatre Arts & Performance Studies and the other in Modern Culture & Media. She has also worked for Brown University's Admissions Department. She regularly co-presented application information sessions for prospective students and learned how Brown evaluates candidates. This experience provided her with a unique understanding of what constitutes a strong college applicant. Kayla specialized in answering: "When applicants have similarly strong test scores and grades, what sets an admitted student apart from the others?"

Kayla excels at providing structure for both students and parents throughout the entire application process, turning the daunting task of applying to colleges into manageable, actionable steps. She supports her students in identifying and showcasing what sets them apart from other applicants. Kayla's past students have said that essays become easy with her guidance and have expressed gratitude for the sense of direction she provides.

Kayla is a passionate storyteller and has extensive professional experience as an actor, writer, and director. She is the recipient of the New Players Company Directing Award and the Brown University T. Carpenter Prize for Elocution.

Nina has a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Culture and Media and American Studies from Brown University. Nina’s passion for coaching stems from her experience applying to college independently. Nina attended a public school that didn't often send students to 4-year colleges, let alone private colleges, so she had to teach herself everything about the process.

Nina has extensive experience supporting college aspirants and was also a coach at Upward Bound, a college readiness program for low income, first-generation, and minority students. Nina’s greatest strengths as a coach include helping students boil down their life stories into a few key points and editing essays so they best highlight a student’s motivations, passions, interests, and achievements. As a professional writer and researcher, distilling and synthesizing information is second nature to Nina. She uses this strength to help applicants craft stand-out applications, where every sentence matters.
