Rowa received her undergraduate degree from Columbia University. Before graduating from Columbia, she spent her summers exploring different career trajectories, working as an investment banking analyst at JPMorgan to serving as an SDGs advisor at the Sustainable Development Goals Center in Africa (SDGCA). She draws on these and other cross-industry experiences to mentor her students–helping them explore their interests and different academic, summer, and internship programs.

She has extensive experience in the education sector as a university admissions strategist and early career counselor. Rowa has coached many international college applicants helping dozens secure significant scholarships to top U.S. colleges such as MIT, UC Berkeley, Columbia, Cornell, NYU, Duke, Emory, Northwestern, and many more.

Rowa is committed to facilitating a safe space for her students to reflect on their shortcomings and identify their strengths. Rowa works with her students to make the application process less daunting by fostering confidence while working with them on developing an authentic, cohesive narrative. She strongly advocates for higher education as a means to personal and generational transformation.

She supports her students in planning and managing self-initiated passion projects– from brainstorming, and breaking down operations into manageable tasks, to executing the final product. While working with her Quad students, Rowa encourages an intuitive approach to in-depth research. Rowa believes that this translates into many college application components, from creating a good-fit, balanced college list to tailoring writing for school-specific essays and preparing for admissions interviews.

When she's not coaching, she loves cooking, making music, and learning about herbalism. More than anything, Rowa loves spending time with her family and traveling.
